Privacy Policy

Effective date: March 20, 2018  ·  Last updated: June 27, 2026

YourCourts is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. If you have questions, contact us at support@yourcourts.com.

1 Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to all services, websites, and applications operated by YourCourts, Inc. ("YourCourts," "we," "our," or "us"), including yourcourts.com and the YourCourts member platform used by clubs, homeowner associations, universities, parks, and recreation departments.

If your club or organization has provided a separate privacy notice, that notice may supplement or take precedence over parts of this policy. Please check with your club administrator if you have questions specific to how your club manages member data.

2 Information We Collect

Information you provide directly

Information collected automatically

Information from your club or organization

Your club administrator may import or enter information on your behalf — for example, when setting up your account or updating your membership status. This information is provided and managed by your club.

3 How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

We do not sell your personal information. Your data is never sold, rented, or traded to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4 Sharing & Disclosure

Your club or organization

Your club administrators can view information related to your membership and activity on their platform. This is a core part of how YourCourts operates — clubs need to manage their members, courts, and events.

Other members (member directory)

Depending on your club's settings and your own privacy preferences, limited profile information (such as your name and photo) may be visible to other members in the member directory. You can control directory visibility in your profile privacy settings.

Service providers

We work with trusted third-party vendors who assist us in operating the platform — for example, hosting infrastructure, email delivery, and payment processing. These vendors are contractually required to keep your information confidential and may only use it for the services they provide to us.

Legal requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of YourCourts, our users, or the public.

Business transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

5 Cookies & Tracking

YourCourts uses two types of cookies:

Session cookies

Temporary cookies that exist only for the duration of your visit. These are required for the platform to function — they keep you logged in as you navigate between pages and ensure you see content appropriate to your account. They are automatically deleted when you close your browser or log out.

Persistent cookies ("Remember Me")

If you choose the "Remember Me" option at login, a persistent cookie is stored on your device for up to 90 days. This allows you to return to the platform without logging in each time. You can clear this cookie at any time by logging out or clearing your browser's cookies.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies or behavioral tracking cookies. Your browser settings allow you to block or delete cookies; however, disabling cookies will prevent you from logging into YourCourts.

6 Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If your club removes your membership or you request account deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it for legal, tax, or audit purposes.

Reservation and transaction records may be retained for up to seven years to comply with financial recordkeeping requirements.

7 Security

We take the security of your information seriously. Our platform and infrastructure are protected with industry-standard measures, including encrypted HTTPS connections for all data in transit. YourCourts maintains an "A" rating with the Qualys SSL Labs SSL Server Test.

Access to personal data within our systems is restricted to personnel who need it to perform their job functions. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.

8 Your Rights & Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, or if you have questions about your data, contact us at support@yourcourts.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

9 Children's Privacy

YourCourts is intended for users 13 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information without parental consent, please contact us at support@yourcourts.com and we will take prompt steps to delete that information.

We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

10 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, regulatory, or operational reasons. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

Continued use of YourCourts after an updated policy is posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
